A new movie is filming in Rhode Island about the 1992 Condom Hut business in Cranston that sparked protests from the local community.
A new feature film, “Rubber Hut,” is being shot in Rhode Island, inspired by a real-life story from 1992.
The film is based on Condom Hut, a controversial drive-thru safe-sex store that opened in Cranston during the AIDS crisis.
