Mercedes distributed over 211,000 passenger cars with software used to circumvent emissions laws, according to the Attorney General’s office.
Mercedes-Benz and Daimler will pay at least $120 million in a settlement over emissions defeat devices.
The company knowingly sold over 211,000 vehicles with software to bypass emissions laws between 2008 and 2016, according to the Attorney General.
