Virginia pharmacy deserts grow as rising costs hit druggists

Roughly one in seven Virginians lives in a pharmacy desert – a neighborhood where it’s difficult to get to a druggist – as a long-running decline in the number of pharmacies accelerates, a General Assembly policy panel says.
