NJ Transit hired independent outside counsel to launch a comprehensive review after a complaint was reported to the Office of General Counsel.
NJ Transit’s chief of human resources was suspended without pay last week and escorted out by security, NorthJersey.com has learned.
Joel Gokool, who has worked at NJ Transit on two occasions in 2021 and 2024, was the impacted employee.
