Genesee County prosecutor pushes to keep investigators as stimulus funds run dry

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton is asking the county Board of Commissioners to keep the retired police officers working for an additional 10 months by using nearly $128,000 from the county’s general fund, as well as transferred savings from his departmental budget.
