Lansing area charity tied to retired priest’s thefts settles lawsuit from AG

A nonprofit tied to a retired priest convicted of embezzlement from other priests not be shut down despite efforts from the Attorney General’s office.

The Michigan Attorney General sued the FaithFirst Foundation in 2024 and wanted the charity shut down related to its connection to a Clinton County criminal case.
