“There’s nothing you can do but just sit and pray and hope nothing happens,” said Hassan Mourad, who arrived in Beirut last week on business.
“I’m not going to sugarcoat it; I don’t know what March 22 is going to look like here,” he said. “Yesterday they hit a hotel in the area that’s never really been targeted, so at this point you don’t know if you’re 100 percent safe or not.”
