Family-owned Butterfield Jewelers, a longtime Albuquerque fine jewelry store known for engagement rings, repairs and custom designs, is closing after nearly 100 years in business with a final sale and a celebratory farewell.
For nearly 20 years, Albuquerque native Nichole Garcia came to Butterfield Jewelers to commemorate life’s important milestones; on Tuesday, she came for a farewell ring and a tight hug with the owner amid a closing sale.
