Germany’s Infineon , whose chips are used to power AI data centres, expects revenue from that business to leap nearly two-thirds to 2.5 billion euros ($2.96 billion) in its 2027 fiscal year, as it raises planned investments to meet demand.
Infineon is aiming for a chip revenue target of 1.5 billion euros for its current 2026 fiscal year that began on October 1.
