Most of the production had long since been transferred to free American states, but Cape Cod Potato Chips left a footprint behind, in Hyannis. The little factory used to be a decent-sized tourist attraction.
I like Cape Cod Potato Chips — not enough to buy them when they’re not on sale, but they are better than average, and they’re local, or were, until recently.
