Get ready to Paint the Cloud Green! St. Cloud’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration takes place on Saturday, March 14 from 5-11 p.m. This year, the party will include a 5K Glow Run and a St. Baldricks head shaving fundraiser for children’s cancer. The race will be held at Centennial Park, 1214 10th St. There will be activities for the kids, food truck wars and live Irish music from Murphy’s Law. As part of the City’s Paint the Cloud Green event, there will be St. Cloud’s first St. Baldrick’s fundraiser. The St. Baldricks Shave Fest is a fun way to raise money to conquer kid’s cancer. Participants shave or trim their hair. There are several ways you can make a difference: Participate as a “shave-ee” or “trim-ee”—collect donations and on the day of the event go on stage for a meaningful haircut. To donate: visit the website or donate in person to a person or team. Paint the Cloud Green is looking for local licensed barbers to volunteer during the event (electric clippers only).
