USPS reports up to $16B in annual losses linked to mail theft, fraud

In 2024, at least 58 million parcels were stolen from UPSP, according to an investigation spearheaded by the Office of Inspector General.

Every year, millions of packages are stolen from the mail — and the losses are devastating.
